My Name is Katey.

     

     Hi! My name is Katey Smith and I live in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.  It's definitely one of those places you grow up wanting to leave, but once you do you can't wait to move back.  Right now, I'm 18 and have no idea what I want to do with my life.  I was attending East Tennessee State University to become a school counselor, but everything changed once I moved there.  It wasn't the place for me.  Too much partying, too big of a city, and too far away from home.  And it turns out I didn't even want to be a school counselor.  As much as I love psychology, I would get too attached to the kids I was trying to help.  So for now, I think I want to be an interior designer and will attend Western Carolina University in the spring.  I share my home with my parents and my two cats, Oscar and Sassy, both who are named after their personalities.  Oscar is named after Oscar Meyer Wiener because, well, he's a VERY big cat who can't get enough of chili and ice cream.  Sassy is just plain sassy.  My world revolves around my handsome boyfriend, Eli Rogers.  He's the man of my dreams and I'm very much in love with him.  He supports me in every way he can and is the just the best man I know.  I'm very much an average girl who loves makeup, fashion, and crafting and I enjoy spending my time with my family, taking back roads with the music blaring, as well as decorating anything I can whether that be a room, a cake, or a face.  All this combined makes me, well, me and I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy writing it.
